During these unprecedented times, Schmidt’s Optical & Hearing is working with the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local, State and Federal Government officials to ensure proper, safe and efficient care to our patients and staff.
Until further notice, we have implemented Curbside Service so that you are able drop off your hearing device(s) for repair and pick them up once they are repaired. Just give your name to a parking associate upon your arrival and a hearing associate will take care of the rest while you wait in your car.
This is to ensure that our patients, as well as others who purchased hearing devices elsewhere, are able to pick up their repaired devices prior to any temporary mandated closing that might take place. We will notify the public of any store closing via email, website, Facebook and Instagram Pages if we should be required to close.
In addition, we have diligently kept up with any and all sanitation guidelines, and are taking every extra precaution onsite with patients and staff. Some of these precautions include temperature screenings, proper glove handling and replacement, sanitation of all counters/doors/products/equipment/chairs/restroom/etc. We are also offering sanitation products to patients and customers upon entering the store, limiting staff hours and more.
Please reach out to Lydia Schmidt or our Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist, Kevin McCurdy at 772-283-2622 or 772-286-4327 (HEAR) with any specific questions or concerns as we adjust more on a day to day basis along with our community.
As Always, thank you for your business, and thank you for trusting us with your hearing health needs!
